Re: Party - Friday 5pm - Keokea Park

Hi all:

Just a reminder about the party friday 5pm. It looks like we will have a pretty good turn-out (if you haven't RSVPed, please show up anyhow). James offered to bring a firetruck by (assuming they're not on a call) and possibly let the boys turn on some of the hoses, so that'll be fun for the boys if it works out.

-- This is a potluck. The pack will buy burgers and dogs for the grill, plus drinks. If everyone can bring a side dish and/or dessert, that will be great.
-- Bring mess kits!!!
-- Class B uniforms, close-toed shoes. Bring a change of clothes/shoes (or two), as I am planning get-wet games (water balloons?). Bring some warm clothes, too, as it gets cold there.
-- Since sundown is 7:30ish, try to show up on time so we can make the most of this.
-- Plan to help clean up afterwards. (And show up early, if you can.)
-- I could use a volunteer or two to plan games. We will have LOTS of field space at our disposal.

Invite any boy you know (grades K-4) who might be interested in joining next year.

I am assuming everyone knows where Keokea Park is. It is the community center by the playing fields/playground. If you need directions, call me.

thanks!

All:

Please RSVP yes or no that you can attend the party at Keokea Park this Friday. It will be at 5pm until 7ish (sundown?).

Somebody offered to bring a grill, but I can't remember who. Can someone commit to having a grill there and ready to go by about 5pm?

Hi all,

Here are the announcements from our pack meeting last week.

END OF YEAR PARTY - Friday, June 3rd at Keokea Park, 5pm till ? (dark?)

We are confirmed and this is a go.

Please confirm yes/no that you can or cannot attend.

We will have a flyer to pass out - please invite others, especially boys who might want to join.

Please plan to help in some way, as well as stay to clean up.

Cub Camp (day camp) is June 8-10. If you have not replied already and want to go, please let me know. Cost is $60. Need t-shirt size.

Awards: June 30th is the end of our Scouting year, so all badges, electives, etc need to be done a few days before that in order to report it.

Webelos camp is July 1-2. This is for the 2010-2011 Bear and Webelos1 dens. Save the date. Details coming soon.
